The Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center is a 125-bed facility devoted exclusively to the medical needs of infants, children and adolescents. It is our regions only children’s hospital.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Though our mission has expanded since our founding in 2011, we continue to provide financial assistance to families staying at partnering Ronald McDonald Houses.
These families are provided with housing by the Ronald McDonald House, but often require further assistance due to the serious illness of their child. Building on Love provides grant assistance to help these families to make it possible for them to meet basic needs that are often taken for granted in everyday life.
Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan
In 2021, Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan was instrumental in assisting us expand our mission to support adult patients that meet our grant making policies and procedures. Their caring patient services team members help our families with their application and are active partners in our mission.
New York Oncology Hematology
Along with our friends from CDPHP, the New York Onocology Hematology family played a vital role in the expansion of our mission in 2021. Their social work team and caring staff help our families with their application and are active partners in our mission.
National Kitchen and Bath Association New York Tri-State Chapter
The mission of the NKBA New York Tri-State Chapter is to enhance member success and excellence, promote professionalism and ethical business practices, and provide leadership and direction for the kitchen and bath industry in the New York Tri-State region. The chapter hosts an annual fundraiser for Building on Love and its members volunteer throughout the year.
