Saturday Weather Update
10:00am – update
Good morning –
We have been in communication with the management at True Pickleball. They are a “go” for the tournament right now. We will follow their lead on this so as of now we are planning to get both divisions in. The staff will be trying to move things along a little faster in both divisions. The women’s division will start promptly at 3pm, because of the reservations they have prior. The men’s division should plan on arriving a little earlier to get registered and warmed up. Plan on warmups happening between 5:45pm and 6pm with the tournament starting promptly at 6pm. Hopefully we can have the men’s divisions out early as well.
If anything changes we will be in touch.
Thank you!!!

About the Event
Building on Love and Capital Cup for Kids are excited to invite you to our annual Pickleball Doubles Tournament!
This is an open 18+ event, with the exception of the opening session on Thursday, January 4th which is a mixed 50+ event.
While we are presenting it as an “Open event” to keep things more casual and fun, it is important that all players have experience, and know the basic rules and principles of the game.
This tourney consists of four divisions and will be played over three days at the area’s premier indoor pickleball facility – True Pickleball Club in Latham, NY. Each session will include the chance to bid on some amazing auction items, door prizes, swag bags for players, food, and an awards ceremony to the crown champs of each division.
Building on Love and Capital Cup for Kids share a mission to assist families caring for a child facing a life-threatening diagnosis like cancer or premature birth in our community. We come together through our love of sport, especially team sports, to rally our community to help their neighbors in need.
With your support we will be able to help more families together, and through our respective causes, for families caring for a seriously ill child. You can play an important role in helping us meet this goal by being part of our annual pickleball tournament Thursday, January 4 through Saturday, January 6, 2024.
